Leanne Moore REALTOR
Long time Johnston County Native and lover of the country. I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to travel to Germany with my family as a child as my father was a First Sergeant in the United States Army. I still enjoy the thrill of traveling, and despite not having been out of the country since I was a child there is nothing I would love more than seeing the world. I am the mother to the most amazing, well rounded, easy going teenaged son and enjoy spending my time working with my energetic German Shepherd puppy.
Being from a military family, I have had numerous opportunities to see and do things that most civilians and even some military families do not get to experience, and I am forever thankful for the freedoms I have been exposed to. A few years ago myself and my family were invited to Fort Benning, Georgia to be VIP guests for the dedication of a brand new building honoring my brother’s sacrifice to his country. You see, my brother Clint Moore was killed in action in Iraq while on a tour of duty in the spring of 2007. Clint was my best friend and will forever be my biggest hero. In recent years, my son and I had the honor of touring the Ready Room at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, DC. That was a powerful moment in my life that will stick with me forever.
